In Fate War, having Tier 5 (T5) or Tier 6 (T6) troops provides a massive advantage on the battlefield, but the true power that determines the fate of a server isn’t found in swords—it’s found in diplomacy at the table. Most players and Alliance Leaders (R5) approach Alliance Wars (GvG) with a “the strongest wins” mindset. However, if you don’t know where to plant your flags, who to ally with, and when to fight, even the mightiest armies will crumble.
Here are the golden rules for controlling the map—and thus the war—in Fate War:
Many alliances throw down flags and build fortresses randomly just to paint the map in their colors. This is the biggest mistake you can make. Territory is not a beautiful decoration on the map; it is your war economy itself.
The days of the old GvG system, where 12 alliances fought each other chaotically and backstabbing was the norm, are over. With the new Faction system, wars have turned into a tactical “wall-to-wall” clash.
Diplomacy doesn’t mean being friends with everyone; diplomacy means survival and centralizing power.
